Musical User Interfaces and Sliders

I was invited by old friend and Spitfire CEO Will Evans to give a talk to some of their team about my work.

I gave them an insight into my experience with installations, gave them a demo of the mobile spatial audio system I built for the Apple Store, and took the opportunity to spread some propaganda about my opinions on new directions for music technology and how we can design better sliders and finally get rid of rotating knobs on the screen.

Spitfire were really welcoming, it seems like a great place to work. Their new office is super nice, and even features Stanley Kubrick’s Gramophone!
